The Museum of Danish America has launched a new traveling exhibition about hygge (“HOO-geh”), the Danish word that encapsulates ideas of coziness, hospitality, warmth – and lots of candles! The exhibit will introduce different aspects of hygge, a long-standing value in Scandinavian culture and one that has received widespread international attention in recent years.
