Jens Verner Sørensen (born in 1923) is shown here around the age of six, the proud owner of his first bicycle. Jens was the son of Alfred and Ester (Jensen) Sørensen, of Boulstrup, in Bjerager parish, Århus County. After immigrating to the U. S., he eventually settled in Kimballton, Iowa.
