There's No Place Like HomeThis home with its red-tiled, steeply pitched roof is typical of many early-20th century Danish houses. It is located in Svendborg on the island of Fyn and was the birthplace of Petra Hansen. It was still standing in 1989.
Petra married Bernhard Hansen. They lived in Jacksonville, Iowa. Their house was built in the early 1940s by carpenter Carl Sorensen.
