In Service to Country, New and Old - Many Danish immigrant men (and a few women) served in the military in Denmark and many chose to serve and defend their new country during wartime.

In 2007 the Genealogy Center exhibited a selection of immigrant veterans who saw action in every war from the Revolutionary War on as well as peacetime service.
