There's No Place Like HomeThis picture shows the farm of Peter Christian and Mette Møller Sorensen about 1910. It was located in Hamlin Township in Audubon County. The dwelling house was built in 1904. Note the modern curved window design over the porch.
Peter was born in Vendsyssel, in the northernmost tip of Jutland in 1867. Mette was from the city and county of Ringkøbing. They married in Audubon County in 1895 and were the parents of six children, five of whom are in the photograph.
