Confirmation: Coming of Age in Denmark and the USThe children of Hans K. and Ane Kristine (Beck) Hansen, they were confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church near Exira, Iowa, by Rev. Henrik Plambeck in 1920, 1926 and 1931, respectively.
It was a family tradition that photographs of important events be taken next to the urn planter on the home farm. The planter now graces the home of Freda's daughter Elsie Ogren in Wall Lake, Iowa.
