There's No Place Like HomeImplement dealer Chris Larsen, known locally as “little Chris,” and his wife Amanda lived in this home in Elk Horn, Iowa, with their five sons. Located across and just up the street from the Family History Center, the residence has many features of a typical Midwestern home of the early 20th century. For this reason the Chris Larsen House was placed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1991. Since the photograph was taken the exterior has been extensively remodelled.
